Policies and Aims
Dear Members.
Here at Hoofs2010 Inc are a group of people striving to save the heritage of our wild horses across Australia. We have formed a not for profit Association and have been working since the 17th March 2010
In setting up our organization we have now drafted our goal and policies to be followed by all people who join us in our quest to responsibly home in adoption of one of our rescues or in presentation of facts at hand.
As we strive to save the Australian Brumby we will promise to act in a safe and responsible manner with setting of expected outcomes and commitments to all Volunteers, Adoptive Owners and members of the Public.
Our desired results will lead to The Heritage Australian Brumby horse being responsibly managed for generations to come and assist in the management of our Eco systems and environment whilst keeping the brumby as an already perceived Australian Icon.
The Australian Brumby horse was derived from many great breeds in the world that were imported to serve successfully in the area they were to be used , Hence the different breeds in the first instance.
Whilst many would argue that the horses are of no benefit to our world and have surpassed their uses.
We and many Other Australians hold the same respect for these horses and other living creatures in our country as Our fallen men our Soldiers. One only needs to visit the Light Horsemen and read the words of the soldiers dedicated to their mighty Australian Steeds..
Hence our desire for preservation and protection of our heritage in a responsible manner for all to enjoy.
our policies are enforced to achieve this task.
